A2Z Translation Agency is a company which has provided translation services in St. Petersburg, Russia, since 1987. We boast a long history of cooperating with Russian, European, American, Asian and international companies and translation agencies.

We are experienced in completing major projects (up to 2.5 million words per month). Some of the examples include technical translations into Russian for the Philip Morris tobacco company (1996), Ford and Toyota automotive factories based in St. Petersburg (2000-2010), major oil-and-gas-related translation projects for Gazprom (the Shtokman gas condensate field, the South Stream, the Nord Stream, and the Nord Stream 2 pipelines), a two-million-word ERP Navision project for Microsoft Business Solutions (2002), and many others.

Since 2004, we have been translating the technical documentation for modern combined cycle gas turbines for Siemens and General Electric. During this partnership, we have translated over 100,000 pages (or 25 million words) of Siemens and GE technical documentation for about 20 power plants in Russia.

In 2007, we won a tender for translation services for the major European company Alstom, and delivered translations for a project on the construction of a combined cycle power unit at the Moscow CHP Plant No. 26 for several years. The quality of our translations was highly appreciated by the customer.

In 2016, we were awarded a contract for translation services for the Russian mechanical engineering company Power Machines, which engages in major projects on design, manufacture and complete shipment of equipment for heating, nuclear and water power stations all over the world.

Our professional translators are experienced in translating AutoCAD DWG drawings in both directions between Russian and English at a rate of several thousand drawings per month.

Our interpreters can deliver services at events of any level. Some of the examples of our interpretation work include simultaneous interpretation at the UNESCO international conferences, the RAO/CIS Offshore conference since 2003, the annual “Education Throughout Life: Continuing Education for Sustainable Development” conference, and many others.
